I woke up early this morning with something brewing inside
me. I knew that I wanted to say something, but I didn’t
know what. And then it hit me…
What got you here – won’t get you there.
What got you to your current level of success is not going
to help you get to the next level of success.
The very thing that propelled you to succeed is not going to
help you succeed at the next level.
And until you find out what that next thing is, you’re going
to be stuck where you are.
I call that thing the game changer.
When you discover your next game changer and commit
yourself fully to it, you miraculously find yourself
breaking through to your next level of earnings, your next
level of contribution, and your next level of the human being
you are meant to become.
On my path of leading a conscious business, helping more
people AND growing my revenue, I have seen myself get stuck
sometimes for months (or even years) and I have seen myself take
off seemingly out of nowhere. And the difference is the
game changer.
In case you’re curious, here are some of my game-changing
commitments:
- To be one of the best in the world at using teleseminars
and webinars to get clients. - To master the art of enrollment conversations.
- To create a rockstar team with a culture of caring and
mastery. - To learn how to Joint Venture with some of the best business
owners in the world. - To know my tribe so deeply that I can verbalize where
they are and where they need to be. - To excite 10 times more business owners to join my
community each year. - To innovate and simplify my business model.
What’s your #1 game changer right now? Let me know in the comments below!
Bill thanks so much for sharing that today . .
funniest thing I had just gotten off a group coaching call that was especially taxing and thought . . there’s no way I can scale like this!
(I’ve been focusing on growth and scaling)
I thought, I have to design this as if it is ALREADY 10x (or more) bigger . . I can’t just scale this.
Then you wrote this about what got you here won’t get you there!
Awesome timing!
Sean
To be the clearest and most present I can be to my clients, so their voices – marketing messages and materials – can be heard by those who most need to work with them. This year I’ve been listening to my clients and how I am with them, and in 2015 I want to hone my skills and presence so we can get to the heart of their message/brand more quickly and effectively.
To create a clean, responsive business model/set of offers that best serve my clients, my bottom line, and my lifestyle.
To blog and reach out to my list regularly with high-value information and honest sharing.
Wow – this feels good to lay out in ‘print’ – thanks, Bill!
I love these commitments to your game changers Betyanne! I can feel the passion you have for what you are creating. I would suggest one tweak to this – “I want to hone my skills and presence…” The word “want” is separating you from the commitment to your game changer. I would recommend “In 2015, I am honing my skills and presence so we can get to the heart of their message and brands…” Writing our what you are setting out to create is a powerful exercise. Congratulations for taking out the time to consciously create your next year!
To help women in leadership look powerful, feel confident yet feminine, and represent their personal and professional brand through their image. My vision: to see equal representation on corporate boards accross America.
Amen to that commitment!
To master the art of converting inquiries into paid bookings.
Love it!
My next game changer is to really commit to owning my space in tightly weaving personal growth and business few has done, and do it in my no BS, no “rainbows and unicorns”, say it as it is way. It is to build a big platform and have the GUTS to jumps off the cliff and change my business model from coaching to something different, something bigger, something more.
Thanks for this Bill! Definite wisdom – and I was especially touched by your list of commitments – I will be modifying and adding these to mine – I work in the NHS and I think about how much better the organisation would be if we transfer your goals to the NHS and created a culture of excellence and caring – aiming to simplify the working model and leaving less room for error – I look forward to seeing your next level of material!
Hi Zakia – wonderful commitment you have! The gifts you will be giving the world with your commitment to excellence and caring will change everything in ways you cannot imagine. Let me know how it goes.
To make a difference in the lives of busy music therapists serving older adults by helping them plan successful sessions with ease.
That’s an incredible vision you have! I also would love to know what would you need to focus on in order to create this vision? Would it be becoming the best teacher you can be? Would it be committing to becoming the best at enrolling others to your vision? THAT will be your game changer. I would love to hear what you have to say. Keep on doing the amazing work you’re doing out in the world!
